WBGO WITH SAM PENCEAL

On July 14, 2019, Basketball legend and educator, Sam Penceal,  joined WBGO 88.3 FM Host Rob Crocker for a special radio broadcast to support public radio station WBGO and the Vaughn Harper & Dr. Bernadette Penceal Syracuse University Memorial Scholarship Fund. Penceal created this radio broadcast and the playlist to showcase the popular jazz tunes that connected him, Harper, Dr. Penceal and the other 70 minority students on-campus at Syracuse University during the 1960s.  Monies raised for Syracuse University will be presented annually to support one student in Communications and one in Education.
